Tasks Nest (“Tasks Nest”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by TasksNest Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Tasks Nest mobile app, website, and related services.
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following types of information:
a) Account and sign-in information
- your email address
- authentication details required to sign in
- account identifiers
- profile details you choose to add
You may be able to sign in using email and password, Google, and Apple.
b) Project and app content
- projects
- tasks
- task assignments
- timeline items
- budget or money entries
- notes
- templates
- project contacts / people entries
Some app content may be stored locally on your device. Some content may also be stored in cloud services where needed to support account features and shared project functionality.
c) Shared project data
- shared project names and identifiers
- collaborator roles
- invite records
- shared project state and related content
This allows invited users to view or collaborate on shared projects.
d) Trade profile and directory information
If you use Trade Pro features, you may choose to create and publish a trade profile. This may include:
- display name or business name
- trade category / specialism
- location and country
- availability
- biography / business description
- profile image
- optional contact details, such as phone number and/or email address
If you choose to publish a trade profile, parts of that information may be visible to other users through the in-app Trade Directory.
e) Subscription and entitlement information
- subscription status
- entitlement status
- subscription-related identifiers
- purchase or restore status information
Payments are processed by Apple and/or Google through their app stores. We do not store your full payment card details.
f) Technical and usage information
- device and app identifiers
- app version
- crash or diagnostic information
- authentication/session state
- basic usage or service event data related to account or subscription functionality
2. How we use your information
- create and manage your account
- provide app features and save your data
- enable sign-in, password reset, and account security
- support shared project collaboration
- provide Premium and Trade Pro access
- manage subscriptions, restores, and entitlements
- publish and display Trade Directory listings you choose to make public
- operate, maintain, improve, and secure the app
- provide customer support
- comply with legal obligations
3. How your information is stored
Your information may be stored:
- locally on your device, for certain app content and cached data
- in cloud infrastructure, for account-related features, shared projects, and other service functionality
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
4. Third-party services
We may use third-party providers to operate parts of the service, including:
- Supabase for authentication, backend storage, and account-related functionality
- RevenueCat for subscription management and entitlement handling
- Apple and Google for sign-in and/or in-app purchases, where applicable
These providers may process data as needed to provide their services.
5. Trade Directory and public profile visibility
If you choose to publish a Trade Pro profile:
- your profile may be shown to other users in the in-app Trade Directory
- only the contact details you choose to share should be displayed as part of that listing
- you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you publish
If you do not want your trade profile visible, do not publish it or unpublish it within the app.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share information:
- with service providers who help us operate the app
- with other users, where required for shared projects or public Trade Directory features
- if required by law, regulation, or legal process
- in connection with a business transfer, merger, or reorganisation
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the service
- maintain account functionality
- meet legal, accounting, or security obligations
- resolve disputes or enforce our terms
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and how you use the service.
8. Account deletion
You may request deletion of your account through the app.
When your account is deleted, we will take reasonable steps to remove or anonymise associated account data, subject to:
- technical limitations
- legal obligations
- backup, fraud prevention, or security requirements
Data stored only on your device may also need to be removed from the device by you or by using in-app deletion/reset options.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- access your personal data
- correct inaccurate information
- delete certain data
- object to or restrict certain processing
- withdraw consent where applicable

10. Children’s privacy
Tasks Nest is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
